REQUIREMENTS
What We Look For
Vanbert maintains the highest safety and service standards. To join our operator network, your operation must meet the following criteria:
Safety Certifications
Wyvern Wingman or ARGUS Gold/Platinum rated. FAA Part 135 certificate in good standing. Clean FAA enforcement record.
Aircraft Standards
Aircraft must be maintained to manufacturer specifications with current inspections. Interior condition must meet luxury presentation standards.
Insurance Coverage
Minimum $50 million liability coverage per occurrence. Hull insurance covering full aircraft value. Additional insured endorsement for Vanbert Aviation Group.
Crew Qualifications
Pilots must meet minimum 3,000 total hours with 1,500 hours PIC in type. Current medical certificates and proficiency checks required.
CREW STANDARDS PLEDGE
Your Captain Sets the Tone
Every crew in our dispatched network meets Vanbert's published standards. No exceptions, no case-by-case. Operators who cannot hold this line do not stay in the network.
Uniform & Presentation
Crisp captain's uniform, closed-toe footwear, neutral fragrance, and polished presentation. Crew meets passengers at the aircraft, not from inside the cockpit.
Language Fluency
Native or fluent English required. Bilingual crew is flagged at booking for Spanish, Portuguese, French, or Mandarin speakers. The captain's pre-flight briefing is delivered face-to-face.
Hours on Type
Every captain has a minimum of 500 pilot-in-command hours on the exact aircraft type being flown. First officers hold at least 200 hours on type.
Route Experience
For Bahamas Out Island operations, crew must have recent experience at the specific airport being served. We do not send crews to unfamiliar strips.
Rest & Duty Compliance
FAR Part 117 rest requirements are treated as the floor, not the ceiling. No fatigued crew and no pressure to fly beyond safe limits.
Training Currency
Recurrent simulator training every 6 months, plus current first-aid, CPR, and emergency response readiness where applicable.
Passenger Confidentiality
Crew signs strict confidentiality commitments covering passenger identity, itinerary, and onboard conversations. No social media posting without explicit written consent.
Safety Transparency
Crew gives a genuine safety briefing tailored to the mission, including overwater considerations, child seating, and pet handling when needed.
